FACEAT&P

Federation of All Civil Engineers Association of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry (FACEAT&P)

FACEAT&P is an organization established in 2006 by the Salem and Erode District Associations to promote the welfare of the civil engineering fraternity across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Over the years, the federation has grown into a strong network comprising 98 associations across 12 regions. FACEAT&P has played a significant role in improving the professional and business lives of its members while actively representing their interests before the Government and achieving positive outcomes on several key issues.

  • Unite Civil Engineers across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the development of the engineering community.
  • Promote unity, cooperation, mutual trust, and healthy professional competition among engineers.
  • Keep members informed about the latest developments and trends in the construction industry through technical lectures and seminars.
  • Work with Government bodies to regulate construction material costs and support infrastructure development initiatives.
  • Promote the welfare and professional growth of Civil Engineers.
  • Extend support to fellow engineers during times of difficulty and professional challenges.
  • Strengthen the federation by bringing together new engineering associations.
  • Uphold ethical values and professional standards among Civil Engineers.
  • Introduce welfare initiatives, including insurance and professional protection schemes.
  • Recognize outstanding contributions of Civil Engineers.
  • Develop leadership and personality through training and innovation programs.
  • Organize technical seminars to enhance professional knowledge.
  • Promote environmental sustainability through large-scale tree plantation initiatives.
  • Conduct social service projects for the benefit of society.
  • Arrange international study tours to expose members to world-class construction practices.
  • Expand the federation's reach and strengthen its impact across the engineering community.

PRESIDENT MESSAGE

Dear Members and Fellow Engineers,

I am immensely proud and humbled to serve as the President of FACEAT&P for the 2026–27 tenure. I am delighted to connect with you through this digital platform.

Our Federation was established 19 years ago with the mission of uniting Civil Engineering professionals across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Since its inception, our purpose has remained clear—to protect the rights of engineers and effectively represent their concerns before the Government.

While our continued efforts toward the implementation of the Engineers Council remain a key priority, my focus during this tenure is to strengthen every pillar of our federation through a broader and more inclusive agenda.
